Information Commission:
The Nagaland Information Commission was constituted on 14th
March 2006, vide Government Order N0. AR- 3/ Gen-147/2005
on the recommendation of the appointment Committee constituted
in terms of Section 15(3) of the Right to Information Act.
2005 and under the provision of Section 15(1) & (2). The
Governor of Nagaland Shri Shyamal Datta administered the oath
of office to the above mentioned Commissioners to form the
Information Commission and to exercise the powers conferred
on them and to perform the functions assigned to it under
the Act.
